Human beings are creatures of habit.
Might we fear change?  Is it how we gain a sense of control and security in life?  Perhaps they keep us on track in our lives?

Most of the actions, thoughts, and feelings we have consistently are habitual.  Some may be positive.  Some may be neither positive or negative.  However, certain habits may not be bringing us the results we want.

You may desire to rid yourself of a “bad” habit, but habits by nature do not simply go away just because we’ve decided we want them too.
It is only through a slow, steady, and vigilant process…a step at a time…that we can usher out the habits that are no longer serve us as we replace them with ones that do.
