Our deepest fear is that we are inadequate

Thursday, May 27th, 2010

So often our initial response in life is to hold ourselves back from letting go and being our true selves, all of who we actually are. We lose trust in our own abilities. Why? Is it because we are trained to believe this is being humble? Or is it because it feels safe? To truly maximize life’s journey, to live from a place of passion and experience pure delight, we must be willing to be who we really are. We cannot aspire to be how we think others see us. Nor can we try to be who we think we should be.
We must come to know the unique gifts that we have and share them fearlessly. It is through letting go of our self-imposed limitations, others’ limited beliefs, and our own restricting inhibitions, that we can achieve ecstasy beyond measure, self-expression that honors all we truly are, and experience moments of pleasure that illuminate the magical potential that life is. We must all practice letting go in order to experience a life of passion that is in integrity with who we really are.
If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?
What stops you for making the change now?
If you knew you could get help to make the change, would you take it?
